We’re off on a trip around West Cumbria to sample the delights of our region’s most enjoyed local produce – real ale!
On Saturday 6th February the FYP will start off in Ulverston around midday then jump on a train and head to Millom sample some local ales from the Beckstones brewery
Afterwards we’ll drop into Foxfield. No doubt we’ll have worked up an appetite by this point so we’ll have some food, followed by another session of local ale sampling, before returning to Barrow.
We’ll finish the trail in the Duke of Edinburgh, a home from home for many FYPs, which also has connections to the Lancaster Brewery.
Anyone returning to Ulverston can do so on the last train of the day where one more stop in a local ale house will be arranged.
