Coaching is all about change and action. This day’s introduction to using coaching skills in the workplace will reveal the skills of coaching, giving you a real understanding of how you can use these valuable skills.

Working on real life scenarios, it will also enable you to practice these new skills so you can confidently begin using coaching skills in your workplace. Amanda is a qualified and experienced coach who will transfer her knowledge to you, enabling you to gain confidence in coaching. Developing coaching skills can be particularly useful if you are leading and managing teams of people
The course will include:
- An understanding of the value of coaching
- Identifying where coaching can be used in the workplace
- Greater self awareness – understanding yourself; understanding others; emotional intelligence
- Improving your listening skills and the 3-levels of listening
- The importance of confidentiality, rapport and trust
- The coaching framework
- Understanding and using powerful coaching questions
- Coaching for performance
This course is appropriate for anyone who either works with or manages other people. No prior knowledge of coaching is necessary.
