Matthew Mayvers
Matthew started his business, Caterkwik, with a grant and a dream and is now running a multi-million pound operation, with a team of 24 people, from high spec premises in Ulverston.
With a lifetime of hands on experience in commercial catering equipment, Matthew Mayvers works tirelessly to ensure Caterkwik offers the best equipment at the most competitive prices. His obsession for quality control & outstanding customer service continues to drive Caterkwik from strength to strength.
David Williams
Impact Development Group has grown from it’s headquarters in Windermere, to have offices in 14 countries. During 2008, Impact was named as the Sunday Times 17th Best company to Work For, leaping up 42 places in a year.
Listing his job title as ‘The Boss!’, David was one of three founders of Impact in 1980 when his coal shed doubled as an equipment store and the three partners slept in sleeping bags outside the hotels where they were hosting training sessions to save money. Today, David runs a global people development company that operates in over 50 countries covering Asia Pacific, the USA and Europe. In 2007, David was crowned ‘Cumbria Director of the Year’ by the Institute of Directors in recognition of his leadership and skills in growing this incredible company.
