News. What's going on in Furness
A fabulously rustic summer party
Furness Young Professionals old and new (and some returning from other lands) emerged for a night of switching off mobile phones and royally letting loose on the woodland dance floor.
We were back at our old favourite, Fell Foot Wood, for the first of many FYP summer parties. There was music, an expertly delivered bbq, several drinks and of course a mish mash of heroic dance moves that ranged from breakdancing and boogie to head-banging and waltzing. As ever, with FYP there’s something for everyone.
True to form the DJs were outstanding so huge thanks to Sush and Shengi who have now been booked in advance for several FYP weddings and bar mitzvahs. We are fortunate to have such talent on our door step.
The night was rounded off perfectly with some hearty acoustic strumming and signing around the fire pit followed by a night under canvas in tepees
Massive thanks to everyone who did such a super job putting together another fyp-ulous gathering.
A very good evening indeedy!
