Software Engineer/Web Developer

Our e-commerce, website & back office systems have all been developed in house over the last 12 years. We are constantly expanding the functionality to cope with business demands & have requirements to develop existing modules & to design & code new modules. To meet these demands we are looking for a degree qualified Engineer to join our dedicated team. Candidates will need experience of using ASP, HTML, SQL Server 2005, MS Server 2000/2003 and IIS6 to build High Availability Web Farm based sites. Knowledge of Server level PC Hardware, Ethernet & TCP/IP, MS Office & general office PC usewould be advantageous. Any ASP.NET or Java experience would be beneficial. You will need to demonstrate your track record in designing, coding & testing self-contained applications, preferably in a web environment, while working alone & as part of a team.

Wage – £20–25,000 based on experience

Web Designer

eDirectory.co.uk is the UK’s leading independent aggregator & distributor of online shopping content, as well as a supplier of e-commerce services to UK retailers, by providing then with stand-alone “web shops”. At eDirectory we are looking for a Web designer to join our team creating leading edge e-commerce websites for a growing number of online retailers Your role will be to create concept designs to a client brief based around our e-commerce templates and following client approval to construct the site using our bespoke CMS. You must have a team ethic, be self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision. You will have the ability to learn fast and work to tight client deadlines. You will have experience of Photoshop, HTML and CSS and should be able to provide samples of your previous work.

Experience Required 2–5 years

Wage – £14,000+ based on experience
