LEAK!

On Sunday 1st June, you are invited to a free 30 minute outdoor performance featuring film and sound by internationally renowned street theatre company Avanti Display.

Avanti Display have been developing Leak! and rehearsing at Lanternhouse Creation Centre and you are invited to come and see the show for Free.

Park at the Warehouse, or use the business park round the corner. The show is for all ages and accompanied children are very welcome.

Sunday 1st June 2008 at 7.30 pm.

The Leak! experience:

Some locals have experienced bizarre happenings – water spurting out of television sets and iPods,
The Archers coming out of taps, and flashes of newsreaders in the bathroom steam. A company is brought in to investigate. The team arrives and sets up.

A large pipe emerges from the ground. Technicians are tinkering.

Water is dripping from the pipe and occasionally a jet of vapour escapes from between the joints…..

A situation is being monitored.
A V.I.P. visits.
Spray begins to fly.

Leak! will be featured at ‘Feast’ in Manchester, The Winchester Hat Fair
and ‘Watch This Space’ at The National Theatre.

Directions to Warehouse

* At Booths roundabout go straight on towards Ulverston town centre.
* Turn left at next roundabout.
* Pass Lanternhouse on the right.
* Turn right at the end of the road.
* Turn immediately left down Morecambe road.
* Stay on Morecambe road. It becomes Watery Lane.
* Turn right into West End Lane.
* Immediately before the right turn is a business park – keep going.
* There is a boarded up building at the corner of West End Lane.
* The Warehouse is 200m on the right.
