Screen Writing Workshops in North Cumbria

Due to writing commitments, the autumn round of Jim Eldridge’s Writing Workshops in north Cumbria will be the last until 2010.

Jim is an award-winning scriptwriter with 250 TV scripts broadcast, 3 shown as feature films, 60 books published and 250 Radio 4 scripts broadcast.

His twice-yearly Writing Workshops are held in the small picturesque village of Bowness on Solway on the north Cumbria coast, at the western end of Hadrian’s Wall.

Dates for this Autumn 2008 round are:

  • Saturday 30 August: Writing for Film & TV.
  • Sunday 31 August: Writing Comedy & Drama for Radio.
  • Saturday 6 Sept: Developing Characters & Stories.
  • Sunday 7 September: Writing Books & Getting Published.
  • Saturday 21 September: Teamwriting.

Each Workshop is limited to nine people, at a cost of £30 per person. Full details of the Workshops can be found on Jim’s website.
