Northwest Vision and Media, in partnership with Digital Departures, now have 4 placement opportunities to offer in editing, camera, art/props and costume on Starstruck, the second micro-budget feature film supported via the Digital Departures scheme.This is your opportunity to help put Northwest talent on the map and see your contribution on screen during the 2008 Capital of Culture celebrations in Liverpool.

Starstruck is a dark psychological drama written by award-winning Liverpool writer Leigh Campbell, who has seen her scriptwriting career supported and nurtured by Vision and Media since 2002. It is produced by Andy Stebbing and directed by Lindy Heymann, whose last film Showboy won Best Film at the Milan International Film Festival.

If you are available for interview in Liverpool on the 2nd of April, available to train in Liverpool and Manchester from the 9th of April to the 7th of May, and and have some experience of editing, costume, camera or art, production design & props then read the relevant training profiles and complete the application and equal opportunities forms.

The application deadline is 12 noon on Tuesday 25th March. Competition is always fierce for this kind of opportunity so don’t delay – get your application in as soon as you can!
