Work Experience Opportunity - Deadline Approaching!

Are you aged 14–16, live in the Barrow and Furness area and have an interest in media?

Signal Films is offering 4 one-week work experience placements during 2009–10.

As part of the placement you’ll have the chance to:

• Work with industry professionals on real life projects
• Get an insight into how a film and media company works
• Use professional equipment guided by staff
• Develop your media interests and skills
• Make your own mini-media project

It could be that you want to get involved as part of your formal school work experience placement; you have a keen interest in media and you’re thinking about pursuing it as a career; or you just want a taster of what it’s all about.

If you are eager to learn, hard working and enthusiastic they want to hear from you!

• Deadline for applications is Friday 17th July
• Each placement will run for five days, Monday to Friday from 10am – 5pm (times may vary if you are working on special projects).
